Motorola “Service from The Start” Service Packages
We’re pleased to offer customers Motorola’s Service from the Start (SFS) service package, available on Mototrbo digital radios as an optional extension to the manufacturer’s standard warranty.
In the event that your Mototrbo two way radio requires attention, all repairs are carried out by highly qualified Motorola repair technicians at certified repair facilities using state-of-the-art diagnostic and repair equipment.
Three service levels are available to suit your budget: Lite, Essential and Comprehensive. A summary of each service is shown below, but all of them provide a faster turnaround time than the standard warranty in addition to expert telephone, software and repair support.

An extension of the standard manufacturer warranty, offering the same level of cover over a longer period of either 3 or 5 years.
- A maximum turnaround time of 5 days (not including delivery time) instead of the 10 days provided by the standard warranty
- Only covers manufacturer defects
- Non-technical support only
- Basic software support – only bug fixes
All the benefits of Lite, plus:
- A next-day repair turnaround time (not including delivery time)
- Covers normal wear and use during the contract period.
- Provides full telephone technical support for issues requiring a high level of troubleshooting expertise
- Full access to software support (maintenance releases and patches)
All the benefits of Essential, plus:
- A same day turnaround time (not including delivery time).
- Repairs for accidental breakage, including water damage, cracked outer housing, damage to display or keypad
- Expert technical support (24 x 7)
