Better Coordination for Volunteer Response Teams

March 3, 2004

For a busy period we arranged PoC handsets on a cellular network, mainly for volunteer response coordinators. The radios were easy to hand out and collect at the end of each shift. Would happily recommend them.

Volunteer Response Radios with Helpful Support (2)

November 4, 2003

We wanted something more practical than staff relying on mobiles for volunteer response coordinators, and chose a trial of PoC radios. There was a small question about charging, but support sorted it out without fuss. Would happily recommend them.

Private Hire Fleet Digital Radio System

November 4, 2003

A straightforward experience arranging a new digital radio system for our private-hire fleet. A useful improvement over our previous setup. A clearer delivery update would have been helpful, but the kit performed well.

Improved Clinic Facilities Radio Coverage

September 24, 2003

Our previous radios were becoming unreliable, so we contacted DCS about a trial of PoC radios for clinic facilities teams. Coverage was noticeably better in the areas we had struggled with before. We had to clarify the accessory options before confirming.

Improved Volunteer Response Radio Coverage

April 20, 2003

Not a huge order, just a trial of PoC radios for volunteer response coordinators, but the team took it seriously. Coverage was noticeably better in the areas we had struggled with before.

Factory PoC Radios

February 26, 2003

This was our first time using radios for production lines and maintenance engineers. DCS suggested PoC handsets on a cellular network. It was useful to have a single point of contact when we needed a few changes.

Choosing Radios for Port Operations Teams (2)

October 28, 2002

Our operations had grown and berth teams and landside crews needed better contact, so we ordered extra hire radios for a peak week. We liked that they explained the difference between site radios and nationwide PoC before we decided. A printed quick-start guide would have helped new staff.
